Theo Hernandezโ€™s return to form augurs well for Milan

Milan might have endured a disappointing Serie A season which currently sees them 9th in the table, but their season can be recovered to some extent if they win the Coppa Italia final versus Bologna.

A key aspect for Milan lately, has been the return to form of Theo Hernandez. The Frenchman has had a below-par season with some notably bad moments like the red card in the Champions League against Feyenoord. However over the last month or so, with Sergio Conceciao adopting a 3-4-3 system, with Hernandez as the left wing-back, he has very good. He recently found the back of the net in a big win over Udinese. The newfound freedom in his new role seems to have revitilized the 27 year old.

Due to his poor form earlier this season, contract renewal talks have been paused. As per Repubblica.it, Milan are not ready to pay the โ‚ฌ7m yearly wages that Hernandez is demanding. A move away was offered by Como in a โ‚ฌ12m deal which Milan accepted but the player rejected. He would only want to move to elite clubs like Real Madrid, Bayern Munich or PSG, or prefer to stay with Milan for the time being, even without an extension.
