Milan are set to welcome regional rivals Como at the San Siro tomorrow to build on their upward charge.
Milan had to fight tooth and nail in their previous Serie A match against Lecce to mastermind a comeback. Nikola Krstovic doubled Lecce’s lead in the first hour of the game as the Rossoneri looked at the face of a humiliating defeat. However, Milan kept piling on the pressure forcing a Antonino Gallo own goal and later completed the comeback win thanks to a brace from Christian Pulisic. Sergio Conceicao breathed a sigh of relief as his team ended a three-game losing streak.
Milan departed from the Champions League due to a 2-1 loss to Feyenoord on aggregate mid-February and then followed that up with three defeats to Torino, Bologna and Lazio respectively.
Meanwhile, Como have enabled a wide gap from the relegation zone thanks to some of their resounding performances this season in the top flight. The Lariani are now dreaming of a top-half finish and it would be a monumental campaign for them if they actually manage to do that, provided their big bets on the transfer market over the two windows. Despite Milan being the favourites for tomorrow’s clash, Cesc Fabregas’ men have shown that they pack a huge punch and the ability to pull an upset.
Here are the predicted line-ups for the match according to Pianeta Milan:
Milan (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Walker, Gabbia, Thiaw, Hernandez; Musah, Reijnders; Pulisic, Joao Felix, Leao; Gimenez.
Como (4-3-3): Butez; Smolcic, Goldaniga, Kempf, Alex Valle; Perrone, Caqueret, Da Cunha; Nico Paz, Diao, Strefezza
