With the Rossonerri plotting to enter next year’s campaign seeking redemption, following their underwhelming season where they find themselves in ninth of the league-standings, the Milan board are prepared to make drastic changes of the squad.
Daniele Longo reports that although the futures of Rafael Leao and Theo Hernandez has been a hot topic this season, they are destined to stay with the Milanese club unless an irresistible offer is thrown their way.Â
The Italian journalist adds that Milan are set to part-ways with Samuel Chukwueze at the end of the current season, as his two-year spell in Italy has been considered a flop given the €27m transfer fee including bonuses they paid Villarreal in the summer of 2023.
As it stands, Spanish outfits Real Socidedad and Sevilla are eager to pounce on the €12m-€15m on the 25-year-old Nigerian international.
Furthermore, the Rossonerri are keen on relinquishing Ruben Loftus Cheek after a disappointing second season with Milan where he only made 14 appearances in the Serie A and failed to tally a single goal or assist. However, it will be difficult to find suitors who are eager to purchase the former Chelsea man.
Longo mentions that Yunus Musah is also on the transfer list, with Napoli seemingly keen on acquiring the American international’s services in midfield.
Finally, Milan have decided that Filippo Terracino’s time is up as the Rossonerri have ran out of patience for the former Verona midfielder despite his short arrival.
