Serie A giants Milan are now making progress in a move for Monza midfielder Warren Bondo.
Earlier, it was reported that the Rossoneri could lose Ismael Bennacer on deadline day and the midfielder was pushing for an exit. Because of this, Milan want to sign a replacement quickly.
Relevo’s Matteo Moretto has reported about the club’s chase for Bondo, stating that a move is now closing in for the Diavolo. Contacts are ongoing with Monza to potentially find an agreement.
His arrival will the seal Bennacer’s Milan exit, as the Algerian has asked to be sold and wants to move to Marseille. There is already an agreement over personal terms, with the French club having offered a loan deal with the option to buy for a fee of €10 million.
Bondo has impressed for Monza this season and he has been linked with a host of other clubs as well.
