Napoli midfielder Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa is set to leave Serie A on a free as a move to the Premier League reportedly beckons. His contract expires in the summer, although there is an option of a possible renewal present in the agreement. Aurelio De Laurentiis might want to exercise that option but it does seem that Anguissa himself does want to move away.
There was some Saudi interest in the Cameroonian which might come up again. Monaco and Marseille from the French league were also said to be interested. But now as per Areanapoli.it, Anguissaโs agents have offered him to Manchester City, Manchester United from the Premier League.
While there are still miles to go for anything concrete to happen, this could turn out to be interesting. City could certainly do with Anguissaโs experience in the engine room given how this season has gone. For Amorimโs side meanwhile, the 29 year old would bring skill, technique and Premier League and European top level experience.
