Juventus monitor Bayern Munich center-back Kim-Min Jae and two youngsters as potential defensive reinforcements in summer market

As the Bianconeri lack structure and are seemingly quite brittle defensively this season, Juventus look to rectify this grave issue by bolstering the back-line in the summer market.

Milanese journal La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that former Napoli and current Bayern Munich defender Kim Min Jae is on the Old Lady’s short-list as the Korean’s future with the Bundesliga giants remains uncertain.

The 28-year-old’s rough patch of form this season has the Barvarians considering offloading the central defender and relieving him from his duties within the back-line after having arrived two years ago for a hefty €50m fee.

Hence, Juventus are keeping their tabs open given his experience within the Serie A, having played a pivotal role under coach Luciano Spalletti’s title-winning campaign throughout their time together at Napoli during the 2022/23 season.

Furthermore, the Bianconeri have added Fiorentina rising-star Pietro Commuzzo, whom has quickly rose up the ranks under Raffaele Palladino, having featured in 28 appearances for the Viola within the Serie A, cementing himself as a regular starter for the Tuscan side.

Finally, Juventus are earmarking 18-year-old Giovanni Leoni of Parma as an ideal candidate, given his impressive debut season for the Gialloblu as he made 12 cameos since his arrival from Serie B side Sampdoria.
