Inter coach Simone Inzaghi handed major injury boost ahead of Roma clash

With the vital clash against Roma at the Stadio San Siro on the horizon, Inter coach Simone Inzaghi has been granted a significant injury boost as three of his regular deputies have returned to training.

La Gazzetta dello Sportย reports that Dutch wing-back Denzel Dumfries and former Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski have completed a full group-training session in preparation for the match against the capital club, permitting them to be available off the bench for the former Lazio coach.

On the other hand, the same cannot be said for Frenchman Marcus Thuram as he underwent an individual training session this morning and will not recover in time for the match-up against coach Claudio Ranieri.

The Nerazzurri hope that the 27-year-old will be able to feature against Barcelona in the Champions League semi-final first leg in Spain during the mid-week.
