In addition, central defenders Benjamin Pavard and Francesco Acerbi return to the starting XI within the back three, having been selected as the preferred candidates over Stefan De Vrij and Yann Aurel Bisseck.

With Alessandro Bastoni and Henrikh Mkhitaryan both unavailable to feature in the match due to having been given a suspension as a result of accumulating too many yellows within the Beneamataโ€™s trip to the Stadio Dallโ€™Arra against Bologna, Carlos Augusto is set to slot in as the left central defender, whilst former Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattessi will start in the three-man midfield.ย

Matteo Darmian and Federico Dimarco are set to cover the flanks, with Hakan Calhanoglu starting as the well-renowned โ€œregistaโ€ alongside Nicolo Barella, forcing Albanian youngster Kristjan Asllani to start from the bench.
