Roma unlikely to replace Ivan Juric with Daniele de Rossi

Serie A giants Roma lost 5-1 to Fiorentina yesterday and it brought further doubts about the future of manager Ivan Juric.

The start to life at the club hasn’t been great for Juric and there is talk of the fact that the Croatian’s job could be at risk and De Rossi could return. Those feelings grew after the defeat to Firenze yesterday.

Corriere dello Sport look at the situation of the Roma boss. They state that De Rossi’s family and the ex-manager himself are in New York itself and so far the Roma owners Friedkins. But all of it is just described as a coincidence and the club ownership has completely excluded the possibility of the Italian returning as manager.

The Friedkins are not expected to be in Italy and that is why Juric’s job isn’t in the balance. The fans were enraged after the defeat to La Viola yesterday but no immediate action from the club is expected.
